Our Solution

All windows were finished on the outside with new black aluminum flashing to match the black window colour and provide a maintenance-free exterior finish. The black frames gave the home a sharper, more current look while the brick-to-brick installation allowed the team to address the full opening around each window.

The window package included Low-E glass and argon gas for improved energy efficiency. NorthShield also replaced several doors, including a full-glass door for maximum glass area and a front door with Rain Water decorative glass, a practical choice when the homeowner wants privacy, security and a larger glass insert. The door systems were selected with multi-point locking for extra security, matching the quality expected from NorthShield’s exterior door systems.

Installation Details

The full window and door replacement was completed in two days by a four-person NorthShield crew. All products were supplied and installed by NorthShield and were Energy Star certified for Canadian climate zones.
